Privacy, in plain terms.
No badges, no buzzwords. Here is where your data lives, what we store and what we deliberately leave out.
Everything in the EU.
Database, servers and services are in the EU. The database with clients, leads and boats in Stockholm, frontend, PDF rendering, feed server and image service in Germany.
AI in the EU.
The AI in BoatMatch runs on providers that process data in Europe. Only if you connect BoatMatch to your own AI account yourself, such as a Claude subscription, its terms apply and processing may happen outside the EU.
No IP addresses, deleted after 18 months.
Tracking stores no IP addresses. You see what a client does, not where they connect from. Tracking data from the portal and boat lists is deleted automatically after 18 months.
Our own image proxy.
Images in the portal, brochures, boat lists and emails run through our own server. Your clients' IPs are not passed to third-party image hosts.
No cookie banner in the portal.
The client portal sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own servers, not from a third party.
Double opt-in with proof.
Marketing consent uses double opt-in. We record who agreed to which text version and when. The proof can be exported.
You approve.
No AI and no API sends emails or starts campaigns on its own. That stays a button in the app, for owners or admins.
What we don't do.
- We don't store IP addresses in tracking.
- We don't keep tracking data longer than 18 months.
- We don't set tracking cookies in the client portal.
- We don't load portal or brochure images and fonts from third-party servers.
- We don't let AI email your clients on its own.
- We don't send your data outside the EU for our AI.
- We don't promise real-time market prices. Comparable boats show asking prices.
